We had a major website setback, computer problems, 
but hopefully in the next few weeks this website will have all the band's info, lyrics ect...
We were able to add a guestbook and a forum, but the photo album is still a work in progress...

This will be a short update,today. I've been sick, 
but I'm starting to recover, so bear with me. Also had a couple of computer viruses, but everything is OK, now. Thanks to everyone, who's listened to, and/or downloaded our 1st Soundclick Mp3: "Believe" (Acoustic Version)
We just got finished with the second song from the new CD, It's called "Fallen" and it also can be found at Soundclick, So please give it a listen too. And don't forget to sign the guestbook here, or leave us a message on the message board, at Soundclick, and let us know what you think, and what you feel, we enjoy hearing from you, our friends.

Greetings to everyone, Scotty L. here. Mark has been doin' alot of studying, and has not had time to update the site, so I've been elected to take over for him.
Anyway as far as the band goes...
We've all been doin' our own studying, to improve the quality recording of the songs. As many of you know, we upload our songs to soundclick.com, and our first couple, got a few good SC reviews, but for the most part, what the reviewers were most disappointed with, was the production of the songs. They, being the great people that they are, have offered us some great advice, as how to fix the recordings, So we have changed our recording equipment, and as I mentioned earlier, we are doin' our homework, before we record any more.
Also, we are goin' to be getting some web tips, from Ty Kaufman, He's a great guitarist, with a great band and an awesome website, His testimony is a very inspirational one, so if you have'nt, check out his site...http://tykaufman.com.

Hello to all, Sorry we haven't had alot of time to work on the website, this month. Mark is still hitting the books hard, and T.B has been working on writing new material and we are getting ready to record and upload soon. Scotty is taking some time off from the website, so I guess it's my turn to do the update (We like to take turns so you never know until the last minute, who's going to be doing the update} but I don't mind.
Like I said, we are still in the writing process and hope to get some recording done soon. and just like the other tunes we will upload them to Soundclick.com.
The new material is mostly acoustic songs that we've been working on for a while now, Since we will be using different recording stuff, we thought it best to go with a stripped down unplugged sound, untill we get the hang of it. But don't get me wrong these songs show a different side of us, some of them have a southern rock style to them, and other's are in a class all their own. but take my word for it, they are great songs, and we can't wait to share them with you.
This Website is about to undergo a major make-over in the next few week, months I'm not sure when, but anyway, it's in the works. Right now the main thing is getting the new songs done. and hopefully putting the whole album together before the end of the year. When it is complete it will be available in CD, and cassette, sorry no vinyl or 8 track tape, Ha, Ha, Ha, Mark and Scotty remember when 8 tracks and were in style. that was before mine and T.B's time.
Anyway, thanks for all of your support, we look forward to hearing from you guys as we venture on, following God's will. And with that I bid you a fond fairwell, till next time we cross paths, may the Lord continue to keep and bless you. Take Care.

Hello to all, T.B. Here, it's my turn to do the monthly update. Yay!!! Like Mike said last month, I have been busy writing alot of songs for the debut album, which if all goes well, will be available before the end of the year. Anyway, that's what were shootin' for.
We've been tweaking and fine tuning our new songs, for a while now, and I think we are just about ready to record the first acoustic song, It's called "Choice" and I've been told that it kind of sounds like something "Day's of the New" would write. The story behind the song is also a very interesting one, but I'll save it for when we upload to Soundclick, hopefully soon.
I'd like to tell you more about our music, our songs deal with very deep subject matter, from addiction to war, among others, and are very emotional and personal to us. We write from our own personal experience and hope that our music will not only rock you, but touch you, make you think, and fill you with God's love and hope.
And last but not least is the status of the website, Well... right now, it's all we can do, to update once a month, but we've all decided that the website needs help. And a new and improved website is most centainly on the way, If you would like to help, or have any suggestions, please drop us a line at handfulofrain@rock.com In the meantime, stay tuned, Keep on prayin' and looking to God for life's answers, remember, He wrote the instruction book.

Hello All, Mark here, Sorry for the late update, but I will bring you up to speed on the goings on in the group..
Well, there is BIG NEWS, and also some GOOD and some BAD news...First the...
BIG NEWS!!!
The new songs are just about complete, and ready to be uploaded to SC, The reason we waited Soo Long, is we wanted to make sure that these songs are of better recording quality, for our listeners. So I know it's will be well worth the wait... Next the BAD news. (Don't Worry It's not so Bad)
The Bad news is that we will not be able to do the updates on this site, every month, as we have been...Which brings me to...
The Good news, We have been making improvement on the website, like the intro page, Cool, Huh? Our thanks go out to Ty Kaufman for it. We will continue to make changes to the website, and that is the main reason, we will not be able to do the updates as often as we have been., but not to worry there will be a new news page, and it will updated when ever possible.
So that's about it for now, In closing, I'd just like to say thanks to everyone for hangin' in there with us, as we embark on this exciting music ministry, and keep watching this spot for new and exciting thing to come. So from Handful Of Rain, We hope you have a great Thanksgiving and give thanks to the Lord for all that He has done, and will continue to do.
